Recognized by sight: It looked like a classic Ganoderma brownii.
Used references: I used Arora’s “Mushroom’s Demystified” to make sure the macroscopic features of the shelf-like, woody, brown fruiting body was correct as well as the white pore layer.
Based on microscopic features: It contains brown spores that are elliptical and thick-walled.
