Three small specimens growing in sand in the middle of a dirt road. The caps are dark gray (not reddish-brown as the pix suggest), with grayish, little cottony patches of volva.
These don’t look like A. dulciarii, though we found three specimens of the “confectioner’s amanita” in a close proximity to this collection.
