but I didn’t think anything of it at the time, next time I see them in this spot I’ll grab a few if they look the same, although it could have just been the dry weather…

Specimen and/or microscopy would be really helpful…

The color shown is unusual, but I’m not sure if that’s just a camera white balance thing or not.
