Observation 151261: Cortinarius subgenus Phlegmacium (Fr.) Fr.

Notes: Growing among mixed conifers @ ~ 3000ft.
Caps up to 6.0 cm across and viscid.
Spores ~ 7.8-8.9 X 4.8-5.1 microns and moderately rough.
KOH on all surfaces appeared neg.
No strong odor.

to Cortinarius talus but the spores seem a bit too large and more elongate-citriniform. Also, I can’t really see enough of the gills to tell how closely spaced they are.
