As photos prove, abundant Amanitas, fruiting under Beech (non-native species to Oregon).


In situ.
Volval patches scattered throughout the top, partial veil still adherring to cap edge.
Rather thick, skirt-like annulus, white gills, white stipe with white scales on stipe.
Volvo a bare cup no more than 1/2 inch tall. Multiple rings of scales above to annulus. Scales rarer above annulus.
