That looks like a good match, hopefully I can make a collection next year, I am very interested in making some micrographs of this unique species!
Do all Cystolepiota species have a red staining reaction when damaged?

I totally agree with Josh – this is one of the Cystolepiota species with inflated, long cells (not globose) on the pileus.

This looks like Cystolepiota petasiformis/pulverulenta… the thick cone of powder on the cap looks right! It could be “Lepiota” subgranulosa which may or may not be the same… it ofcourse could be something completely different! you didn’t save a collection did you?
