Funny little guys, found in grass under live oak, next to the picnic area.
I like how the caps are shaped here, like the onion domes of Russian churches. The caps are hygrophanous such that they are pale tan when young, and dull grey when old.
There were a number of Psathyrella seen up there on that day, I would post all the photos here of yet another unknown Psathyrella…
