Thanks Christian. I looked at some pictures of C.bivelus and it does seem like a possible match.

I’m wondering what you think of C.lucorum as a possible match. I found a picture in MatchMaker that resembles this mushroom and later found the description at http://pnwfungi.org/...

the habitat and radially-streaky but dull coloration and relatively robust stature suggest to me something like C. bivelus
