Notes: Growing on the ground in mixed woods.
Caps up to 5.2 cm across.
Spore print white and not amyloid.
Spores ~ 4-5 X 2.5-3 microns.
Could not find any cystidia on the gills.
There was a fair amount of groups of brownish cells(mounted in KOH)on the cap cuticle of various sizes that, according to Michael Kuo, would also indicate C. granulosum.
