Notes: Found these growing gregariouly in about the same spot as MO# 116446 from last year.
Basically on the side of a path in a semi-open area with spruces nearby.
Caps up to 6 cm across and very slimy.
Spores ~ 8.8-10.3 X 6.0-7.1 microns.
Consensus called them P. olivacea but I’m not convinced.
They are extremely dark, apparently in all phases, are rather squat for this genus, and the spores don’t quite match-up.
