Recognized by sight: This mushroom was found on a foray in the Marche Region led by Italian mycologist, Pinetto Pompili, Vice Presidente of the Gruppo AMB Valle del Metauro-Fano who also identified the mushroom.

Recognized by sight: Dark gills, this doesn’t really look like your reference photos either. Is there any microscopy done?

It also bothers me that you can’t tell whether the mushroom base actually has the thickening of a bulb or just attached debris.

Parasola conopilus=Psathyrella conopilus looks like a good fit to me again looking at the Italian mushroom website which says it’s common there-
