I’m guessing this is a lichen, but the cup things look fungal.

you have collected several apothecia, Joe. The apothecia (cups) in this case are supported by a podentia (stalk). The thallus (main lichen body) would be separate from both the apothecia and podentia. Substantial podentia! Lichen, indeed.
