Found this growing under an oak (yes an actual oak, not some Notho-oak or Pseudo-oak or some other Chilean version of the northern staple) on the side of a trail in hard-packed dirt. Very dry texture to the areolate cap. Spores are clearly some shade of brown, I´d have said rusty brown but I have trouble even with a proper spore print, let alone while examining gills under a hand lens. Weak membranous veil left lots of marginal fragments. Stipe was fibrous and fleshy if not that thick. No distinctive odor or staining reactions.
