Collected by Noah Siegel, specimen to be deposited in the SFSU herbarium.

An undescribed species know to us by the working name “Banana Gaut”. It’s a common spring fruiting Gautieria that has a very strong and distinctive odor of caramel bananas with a slight underlying acetone odor.
