Notes: Yellow on stipe base and apex. Stick base swollen attached to a small branch without disc. Sticky. No particular smell or juice.

Elsa,

To confirm this is M. epipterygia, you can use tweezers and try to pull the gellatinous “skin” on the cap surface. Gently pull upwards from the margin and see what happens. If you see an elastic pellicle separating from the cap as you’re pulling.
