and welcome to Mushroom Observer! Thank you for bringing some of your Amazonian finds over to the site. As I’m sure you know, your chances of obtaining IDs (for anything not immediately identifiable) is directly dependent on the clarity and comprehensiveness of the notes and photographs you provide. Since much of the fungi of Latin America remains undocumented, sometimes even the combination of good documentation (including microscopy) and molecular analysis isn’t enough.

That said, your contributions are most welcome here, no matter how thorough. The opportunity to see and discuss fungi of the Amazon is a rare privilege.
