Observation 156390: Gliophorus perplexus (A.H. Sm. & Hesler) Kovalenko

Notes: Pileus 0.5-1.5 cm convex to umbonate, stipe 2-5 cm x 0.2-0.3 cm, fragile. Pileus and stipe viscid when moist. Lamellae alternately adnexed(sinuate?) and short(attached at margin). Pileus, stipe, and gills bright orange and translucent when fresh. Top of pileus fades to to beige, stipe and laellae remain bright orange when dry. No odor. White spores. Mostly solitary growing on mixed hardwood and pine litter.
