Notes: Growing on the ground in mixed woods.
Cap up to 3.4 cm across.
Spores ~ 8.3-10.0 X 6.0-7.0 microns, ellipsoid and smooth.
Abundant gill cystidia. Cheilocystidia ~ 70-88 X 9-12 microns, narrowly lageniform usually with some crystals at apices.
Did notice some odor when cut, perhaps slightly spermatic.
