Observation 158062: Galerina clavata (Velen.) Kuhner
When: 2014-01-14
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These were growing on the ground(mixed woods) in debris but apparently not moss.
Caps up to 1.0 cm across.
Spores ~ 9.0-11.0 X 5.0-5.2 microns. Q(ave) = 1.95.
In Melzers the spores look pretty smooth.
They look like what we have locally been calling G. clavata, although with the smooth looking spores they also look like what on Mushroom Hobby, Dimitar is calling G. sphagnorum(without the mossy habitat).
Did not retain them.
