but just enough to get location and habitat information, namely the host tree. we were driving to the airport and bought them from inside a moving car, so there wasn’t much time to chat. there are a number of eucalypt associating fungi in Madagascar (see references). it is a very non-native tree, and several species occur in the country, but is heavily relied upon for timber.
