Notes: Not sure it isn’t Hemitrichia calyculata (former H. clavata var. calyculata)? http://www.indexfungorum.org/Names/Names.asp. Is it possible to distinguish both on the basis of pictures only?

Substrates: heavily rotten, debarked log of a deciduous tree
Place: East Bovec basin, above dirt forest road to Krsevec farm house, left bank of river Soca, East Julian Alps, Posocje, Slovenia EC
