Observation 158986: Russula stuntzii Grund

Growing alone apparently on the ground but partially attached to a piece of decayed wood.
Cap 2.8 cm across and viscid.
Taste acrid but not strongly.
Spores whitish.
Spores ~ 7.0-8.0 X 6.0-7.0 microns, subglobose, moderately warted and with a few short reticulations.
