all of these red-capped boletes you have been posting are examples of the “hundreds” which you have found in one location. Some of them show wrinkled/pitted cap surfaces. Along with the complete reticulatum featuring a widely spaced mesh, this points toward nobilissimus. But some of your recent red-capped bolete posts show examples with fairly smooth cap surface. Do you thonk these are all the same type?
