Recognized by sight: can’t be californiensis in pine hab, and with a purplish cap amd purple/rose gill margins; californiensis has shades of orange on cap and gill margins. californiensis used to be misidentified as sanguinolenta, but they are two different species.

I thought this species is only found in live oak duff, it looks like only pine needle duff here.
