A caution to all those trying to guess crustose ids from photo alone! :)

This differs dramatically from my other observation of the same species from the same general area

Please see observation 104264 . That one grows in the open near the beach, while this one is from deep shady woods. Here is microscopy Jim Bennett provided: spores 25×6-7, 4-5-septate, hyaline, spindle-shaped.

Could be Bacidia s. lato., too?

Would really want to see spores before even guessing at genus on these biatorine species.
