to find Peltigera in the northwest, too. Neat.

Several different fruit bodies scattered around the forest floor.

At some point Peltigera were thick there. I guess conditions are right for them – cedar forest on the slope facing Lake Michigan. Plenty of moisture, but cedar thicket protects from biting winds in bad weather.
