Notes: ID please. These are growing all along the underside of the branches of a dead pine tree. Appeared around the end of the year, but have grown significantly since the first rain a few weeks ago.

is an indication of a pine beetle investation, Chaz. The beetles winter over inside the sporocarp, coating them with spores. They then spread the spores with their eggs.
