Observation 160444: Hygrocybe (Fr.) P. Kumm. subsect. Hygrocybe

Group of small orange coloured Caps with red centers fungi. Found growing in crevasse of dead stump. The smallest specimens cap was almost completely red.
The surrounding area is Pines. The largest cap was about 11mm and the stipe had a gelatinous secretion at the top near the gills attachment. The cap appeared to be fully mature and beginning to decay. There was no distinctive smells .
