This observation is a stand-in for several spots in the Bishop pine forest of Inverness Ridge. Not giving away exact spots for obvious reasons.
This is an unusually late mass fruiting of Boletus edulis, driven no doubt by the extremely unusual weather conditions we’ve experience this year.
