Observation 161135: Lepiota (Pers.) Gray

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Single fruit-body growing on ground humus in mixed woods (Doug fir, tanoak, Redwood, etc.)
Cap only 9 mm wide and stipe 30 mm X 1.5 mm.
Buff cap with a dark reddish brown raised disc.
Gills adnexed.
Could not get a spore print but most likely whitish.
Spores not amyloid, possibly weakly dextrinoid.
Spores ~ 8.2-11.6 X 4.9-5.2 microns, smooth.
Apiculus well off center on mature spores.

it looks to be something close to Lepiota cristata.
