Notes: Cortinarius multiformis (Fr. ex Secr.) Fr. Cortinariaceae, Agaricales.
Cap: 4-10cm convex up to flattened, margins curved under for young unit, color from orange-yellow up to ochre-brown with dying. It is slimy in wet weather and glossy when dry. It looks as covered with 1-3mm thick glue. Flesh is yellowish-white up to light-brown. Gills are almost attached, close; color from white up to ochre-brown. Stalk: 4-10cm long, white, 1.5-2.5cm thick, enlarged down up. Cotton is weak. In Russian descriptions it is Cortinarius muscosus (Slimy cortinarius). Julay-September. Sometimes abundant group.
