I went down the exact same mental path when I also found these pretty little white psaths at the Emeryville Marina, in grass and woodchips. They struck me as coprinoid at first glance, too.

Psatharella?

The cap was very hairy and quite white. Spore print black. I didn’t consider Psatharella because of the hairy cap. I didn’t think it was an inky cap although it was near a group of them. Also small – but you can see the size of the greenery around it. Definitely below the stables at Wunderlich – so wood chips and perhaps dung.
