Notes: Clitocybe?

Pale to light tan cap with inrolled margin, very close glassy white gills adnexed to slightly decurrent continuous with twisting light brown stipe, with white mycelium hirsute base.

Yeah, I wondered about the apparent genus change.

I had meant to post Melanoleuca as “promising”, and M. alboflavida as “could be.” But MO said that M. alboflavida had depreciated in favor of C. alboflavida. Checked on Species Fungorum, and the current name for M. alboflavida is reported as Collybia alboflavida.
