Observation 16220: Phaeocollybia radicata (Murrill) Singer
When: 2009-01-06
No herbarium specimen

Notes: These were relatively small (caps 2.0, 4.0 cm broad), not viscid, and the stems were thin and cartilaginous. The reddish brown spores were fairly small for this genus (approx. 6 X 4 microns). The closest match in the Keys was Phaeocollybia radicata but I couldn’t find any detailed descriptions or photos.
