Notes:
Gray foliose lichen on bark of living pinyon pine at about 6000’ elevation in pinyon pine/juniper habitat. Thallus up to 3 cm. dia. No isidia/soredia. Black discs. One of the most common species of Physcia on bark in the montane areas of Arizona. More rounded lobes and pruina on upper surface (third photo) distinguish it from P. stellaris. No rain since 3/2.
