Notes: These were growing in primarily a Redwood habitat but there could have been a Doug fir or Oak in the vicinity.
Caps up to 8.7 cm across and with a greasy feel under wet conditions.
Stipes up to 12.0 cm long and 1.4 cm wide, mostly solid and fibrous.
Spores ~ 7.6-8.8 X 6.0-7.1 microns, 5 & 6 sided.
I thought the odor was somewhat mealy.
