Caps up to 3.5 cm across.
Brown spores ~ 8.0-9.4 X 4.9-5.4 microns, elongate. Q(ave) = 1.71
Odor sl. spermatic.
Gill cystidia not plentiful, mostly lageniform, 45-55 X 12-14 microns, some with apical encrustations.
Inocybe flocculosa appears to be close.
