Notes: Gyromitra Esculenta (Pers. ex Fr.) Fr. Helvellaceae, Pezizales (Строчок обыкновенный)
Brownish, brain-like to saddle-shaped; shot whitish stalk. Cap is 4-12cm wide, 4-8cm high, brain-shaped and wrinkled, brownish-yellow up to reddish-brown and dark brown (with black powder when old). Flesh is brittle and hollow; interior chambered. Stalk 2-4 cm long and 1.5-2.5 cm thick, hollow, fluted with some soil at bottom. It grows mainly under pine tree. Season: May. Edibility: delicious (boiling recommended cause sand).
