Observation 163288: Pluteus orestes Vellinga & Justo
When: 2014-04-10

Notes: Single fruit-body growing on the ground, probably on buried wood among mixed conifers @ 3600 ft..
Cap 6.1 cm across.
Spores fairly variable in size, ~ 7.0-10.1 X 5.0-7.2 microns, broadly ellipsoid to ellipsoid. Q(ave) = 1.35.
Gill cystidia fairly plentiful and also somewhat variable.
Cheilocystidia ~ 70-80 X 16-30 microns, usually lageniform with short horns.
Pleurocystidia up to 100 microns long, many setiform or broadly lageniform.

yes, the last photo are the cheilocystidia, at least the upper part of them,

very likely this is the same as http://mushroomobserver.org/80923, a Western, conifer-loving species in the P. pouzarianus complex that soon will be described as a new species

a key character is the presence of clamps on pileipellis, check for those

also check for cheilocystidia, the photo that you have labelled as cheilocystidia is in fact a pleurocystidium. The cheilocystidia are not thick walled and lack any apical horns, they should be narrowly clavate or cylindrical

this might be the same as your collection http://mushroomobserver.org/80923 or some other closely related species
