Observation 163314: Amanita sect. Lepidella sensu Bas
When: 2014-04-11

Notes: White capped fungi with yellow gills that seemed to be breaking up. Stipe white with uneven surface and large volva. Single specimen only found growing in soil.
No unusual descriptive habit was noticed.. May have remnants of veil on stipe.

Yes the gills seemed to be depreciating to me also. It went straight into the drier so here’s hoping.! kk
