Observation 163317: Clavulinopsis Overeem

No herbarium specimen

Notes: May be Clavulinopsis , but Yellow in colour not Orange.? Unusual height and thickness. Some smaller examples close by. Height about 2.5cm. Unusually large specimen . Found near Slash Pines growing in semi dry soil.

Yellow tongue fungi (Clavariaceae sensu lato.???)

GALL Alain (GALLA-TAHITI), Hi, I think the 2nd photo(image ) is possibly Clavariaceae sensu lato. The first image may be in the same family but I have never seen it grow this tall or with the body habit it is displaying. I looked at the link thankyou, but I don’t think they are the same in physical structure..
