Observation 163329: Cantharellus Adans. ex Fr.
When: 2014-04-11

Notes: Medium sized fungi, found growing between numerous fallen timber. Both specimens were in soil and easily removed from their habitat. The weight of these specimens was surprising, and felt like they were water logged. Both specimens had medium sized short stipes and the upper parts (gills etc), were reasonably delicate . (like lettuce leaves). Some parts of the fruiting bodies were easily separated from the main section. Apart from these two examples no others were found in the area. They were bright yellow when located.

This fungi was bright yellow and large. I have only found this one specimen in total.
