Notes: Growing from under a branch on the ground in mixed woods.
Cap 4.7 cm across.
Spore print white and spores dextrinoid.
Spores ~ 4.1-5.4 X 2.8-3.1 microns, ellipsoid to oblong(Q ave = 1.61).
Did not see any Pleurocystidia. Possibly a few smallish Cheilocystidia of varying shapes(see photos).
Don’t see many local reports of this species but Arora says it is “occasional”.
