show the same mushrooms at different stages? Stipes look fairly white in the first photo but kinda old and grungy in the second. Also, in the first photo one stipe shows material that looks like it could be a ring. If these are truly without rings on the stipes, then I’d say A. tabescens.

Also, is June 1 the correct date for this observation? This would be very early for Armillaria in eastern NA.
