Notes: This is a confusing one found under pines around Mendocino. I think most descriptions have this one as brown in other places in the world. And here I saw a few with the brown cap surface. There are others here with the brown to tan zonate cap. And in the past years this one also gets bright orange and red colors in the cap. A strangely variable mushroom.
