Jacob, this does look like what I’d call strictius.

But the first week of May during a relatively cool spring seems very early for the strictius types here in PA. If I manage to collect some of these for study, maybe Linas will help us understand whether the early spring types all represent different species than the summer/fall types.

So these got left in the woods. They are nice specimens.

I’ll make it a point to collect any other E. vernum that I run across. Seems like an interesting group. Lots of color/stature variation in these springtime Entolomas.
