Notes: Found terrestrially in the cloud forest of Los Quetzales National Park at ~2200 meters. This place is a mycologist’s dream.

Has similarly colored caps and veil remnants on the margin. Not sure what this is though.

I would suggest that this is an Agaricus species, because of the Gestalt, the dark spores and the pileus colour and surface.

have any thoughts on these? None of the Stropharia I know have reddish-purple caps. I was simply basing the tentative ID on the dark spores and general gestalt. Unfortunately the photos are the only info I have.
