Observation 165388: Lepiota (Pers.) Gray

Small white capped fungi with close gills and the stipe was tending to be fibrous and split up the stem towards the underside of the pileus. The fungi was growing in soil but may also have been attached to decaying wood or underground roots. Some brown discolouration on the stipe from about half way down and reaching the base. May be an Agaric.
