Notes:
Growing on a Bigleaf maple log left by side of trail during trail construction.

Cap is centrally depressed. Gills are chocolate-gray, stipe is white at base, then reddish-chocolate to ruby-chocolate, becoming darker near the gills. White remains of an annulus on the cap. 2.5 inches tall.
