I’m not doubting you, just trying to get more details on this observation since we can’t really use features like smell, gill color, and stem toughness from this photo. :)
I suppose it would’ve been difficult for a Psath to get ID’d as an Inocybe, but everything is possible when things are done in a hurry. In most (if not all) cases where I wrote “Inocybe”, I did check the odor, and it was always there.
Can you confirm that his is not Psathyrella? It doesn’t really look apparent in the photo, thanks.
